WELCOME TO CLASSY LITTLE CAKES
Rylee here! I am the founder and owner of Classy Little Cakes (formerly known as Treats By Rylee), and I would love to share a little bit about why I started my bakery and what I can do for you!
I started the bakery on a whim in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic in November 2020. I started at the perfect time to sell my Thanksgiving pies, and I continued through early 2021 creating small (and very random) treats such as cookies, brownies, and more. By March 2021, I discovered my love for cake decorating and fully transitioned to custom cakes, and never looked back!
I have a lot of confectionary loves, including cakes, breads, and classic pastry. As of June 2024, I have rebranded to feature a menu that incorporates all my baking passions! You can find our weekly pastry and bread drops here, as well as pre-designed cakes and our bestselling heart cakes in our online shop here! Custom cakes are still what I know and love, but I also wanted to create a new menu that aligned with the business and style I am building.
A little backstory on me: I have always been a baker, and a passion for food is absolutely in my DNA. My dad is a professional chef of over 30 years, and my aunt is a hobby baker who began teaching me to bake when I was just two years old. My dad put me up on a step-stool at my aunts house and asked her to teach me to bake chocolate chip cookies, and the love for baking and sharing my creations with the people I cherish never stopped since then. My childhood weekends were spent at my aunt’s house creating new desserts and following recipes for days on end.
Now, I am 21 years old and have found a new passion: building businesses. I have so many future plans for food-based businesses, and I cannot wait to keep sharing my creations with the Orange County community (and hopefully beyond)!
